Qigong: (pronounced "chee-gong") is the art and science of using posture, exercise, breathing, and concentration to enhance your health. Qigong promotes relaxation, mental concentration, health and fitness.
Monday, 4:30 pm,
Tai Chi/Qigong Combo: Ages 18+. Explore basic tai chi stretching, qigong breathing and stance training to increase balance, flexibility and strength.
Wednesdays 4:30pm
Tai Chi - Evening: Ages 18+. Tai chi is proven by scientific study to relieve pain and improve quality of life. Learn tai chi in a positive, enjoyable and interactive environment. Instructor: Suman Barkhas.
Beginning Tai Chi:
Thursdays 7:30pm
Beginning Yoga - Evening: Ages 18+. Yoga postures can boost physical, mental and emotional fitness. Sequences are designed so that everyone can participate.
Mondays and wednesdays 6:30pm
Advanced Yoga - Evening: Ages 18+. Yoga postures can boost physical, mental and emotional fitness. Sequences are designed so that everyone can participate.
Mondays and wednesdays 5:30pm
Healing Yoga: Ages 18+. This gentle blend of yoga, breath and guided visualization may reduce stress, especially for those recovering from or living with injury or illness. Bolsters, pillows and props help ensure comfort and alignment.
Yoga Weight Management: Ages 18+. Weight loss is best undertaken gradually, with the goal of keeping the weight off for good. Yoga is a great way to reach that goal.
